What Happens If You Have Several Vouchers?

Suppose you have an eligible £5 voucher created first and a £10 voucher created later.
If your linked online basket has enough eligible value, ASDA can automatically apply the older £5 voucher first and then the £10 voucher.
The eligible grocery total would then be reduced by £15, subject to any excluded products or other applicable restrictions.
Excluded Products Still Do Not Become Eligible Online
Using a Rewards voucher through Grocery Home Shopping does not remove the normal voucher exclusions.

What Does “Voucher Spend Threshold” Mean?
A Rewards voucher can only be used when the eligible value of the shop is at least as high as the voucher value.
If you have a £10 voucher but only £8 of eligible shopping after exclusions and discounts, the normal voucher threshold is not met.
This prevents a standard voucher from simply being partly consumed against a basket worth less than the voucher.
What Happens to the Voucher After You Place the Order?
A voucher applied to an online order can still appear in your Rewards account, but ASDA marks it as locked until the grocery order is fulfilled.
This prevents the same voucher from being spent elsewhere while it is already committed to the pending online transaction.
What If You Cancel or Amend the Order?
If an online order is cancelled, or an amendment means the voucher can no longer be used under the applicable rules, ASDA can unlock the voucher for future use.
The original voucher expiry conditions still matter. An unlocked voucher does not automatically receive a new expiry date because an order was cancelled.
Substitutions Can Reduce the Final Order Value
A grocery order can change at fulfilment because products are unavailable, rejected or substituted.
If this takes the eligible order cost below the value of a voucher that has already been used, ASDA’s current terms state that the voucher can still be applied.
ASDA then credits the relevant difference back into the Rewards account as ASDA Pounds, normally within seven days of fulfilment.
You Cannot Use Standard Rewards Vouchers on George.com
